At the Cosmic Star School & College System, we aim to provide our students with the knowledge and support to reach their full potential.
We want each student to be known, supported, and challenged, and to develop their mind and hearts so that they can go on to thrive in a fast-changing world.
Our staff are dedicated to the academic success of our pupils, as well as their wellbeing and personal development.
We recognise that each student is on a journey, and that there will be challenges and triumphs, moments when they have to re-evaluate and grow, and moments to celebrate all that they have achieved.
Belonging and connections are important, and thus the joyful teamwork found in our events and the quiet moments found in our Peer Mentoring programmes are central to who we are.
We ask that each student give their best and work to uphold the college’s values. That they strive for integrity, identifying their moral compass and are honest and accountable. That they are brave, willing to jump into the fray, use their voice well and build their resilience and flexibility.
And that they are kind, ensuring that the people and places they touch are left better than they found them.
Finally, we want to welcome you to our community and thank you for the trust you have placed in us as a partner in your child’s education and ‘raising’. We recognise that, at times, navigating the school & college years can be hard work for parents. Watching your child grow from a Pre-School pupil full of questions, with a book bag twice their size, to the unique and interesting young college student they will become is not always a simple journey.
Together, we can support your child as they navigate their school & College years and give them the care, challenge, and support that will help them become the richest and fullest version of themselves.
We encourage our students and parents/guardians to revisit our expectations, values, vision, and aims frequently.
The strength of our School & College community relies on all students doing their level best to show integrity, bravery and kindness. As students progress through the college, they will develop skills in four key areas: know oneself, play and create, lead and influence, analyse and adapt.
In addition to the expectations to follow, we expect students:
All students are representatives of the school & college – good or bad behaviour displayed by each student can bring credit or disrepute for all.
